Double circles, one on top of the other, with maroon background for the inner circle and white for the outer ring. Consists of Sema Thammachak seal and “swan tail” craftsman patterns. At the top is the title “Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok”. At the bottom is the title “Office of Vocational Education Commission”

The Sal of India

The Sal of India – a perennial hardwood tree in the same family with Burmese Sal and Para rubber tree. It is widely used to build columns in Buddhist shrines. Its existence, as documented, dates back to the period of the great Buddha. Since ancient times, it has been regarded as an auspicious tree, which can bring good fortune to the place in which it is planted, as well as the people around it. The Sal flowers have two-colored pedals, with red inner side and a green outer side with gold glitters, along with a fragrant aroma.

Maroon/Green

The maroon color symbolizes vibrancy, vigor, and auspiciousness. It is also the symbolic color of the Office of Vocational Education Commission.  

 

The green color symbolizes growth and prosperity, constant evolution as well as peace and serenity.
